Croeso i Dosbarth Hedgehogs! 

We are very excited to share with you the wonderful world of our Nursery and Reception children in our new Early Years unit.

The children have settled well into school and are already having lots of fun getting to know one another and exploring our new set up.

Our topic this term is 'This is me!'

As part of our Immersion week, we have been exploring ways to keep our bodies and minds fit and healthy through mindfulness activities, exercise and balanced diet discussions. We also went on a hunt around our school, finding hidden baby photographs of our teachers, discussing how they have changed and grown. We explored simple portraits, thinking about the main features of our faces that we need to include. We finally had an 'Express Yourself' day, where we dressed up to express our personalities and likes. We had a fun catwalk around our school, showcasing our creative ideas.

We are excited to get stuck into our new topic and learn more about ourselves, our families and our friends in our classroom!
